Costa del Sol – Andalusia, the Sun

The Costa del Sol is the southernmost region of Spain and is located in the beautiful and authentic Andalusia. With an average of more than 300 days of sunshine a year, vibrant cultural cities, delicious tapas and breathtaking nature, this region has a lot to offer. A beach holiday, a city trip, a round trip and even a ski trip in the Sierra Nevada let you dream away.

The Costa del Sol starts in the east from Nerja. This is truly a place to dream of. Unique – sometimes hidden beaches – waterfalls that plunge from the sometimes 80 m high cliffs into the sea and countless natural phenomena are around Nerja for the taking. Nerja’s close neighbor is Torrox and here you will find yourself in the officially best climate in Europe – El Mejor Clima de Europa. The beautiful city of Malaga is centrally located in the Costa del Sol and cheap flights from Belgium arrive here almost daily. The western part of the Costa del Sol is much quieter than the eastern part (from Malaga). For the busier holiday, shopping and ‘party life’ you can go to Malaga, Torremolinos, Marbella and Estepona.

The Costa del Sol continues as far as Gibraltar.
